2019 (Junior): Horton played in 25 games in his first season in Monroe, hitting .254 with three doubles, one home run, eight runs scored, 10 RBIs, 13 walks and 19 strikeouts…Opened the season as the everyday first baseman before sustaining an arm injury at Southeastern Louisiana on March 6…2-for-4 with a run and a walk in his season debut at No. 2 LSU, 2/15/19…Picked up two hits, including a solo home run in the first inning, vs. North Florida, 3/2/19…Missed 22 games with an arm injury suffered at Southeastern Louisiana, returning in a pinch-hitting appearance vs. Louisiana Tech, 4/16/19…Picked up first hit since returning from arm injury with a pinch hit RBI double vs. Alcorn State, 4/30/19…First multi-hit game following injury with two hits and an RBI in the first game of a doubleheader at Troy, 5/11/19.
