Maggie Flynn joins the women's basketball staff as a graduated assistant for the 2018 season. This is her first year with the ULM staff.
Flynn attended FlagerĀ College, anĀ NCAA Division II program in St. Augstine, Florida. Flynn was selected to take on a leadership role her junior and senior year.Ā
At Flager, Flynn ranked seventh in the Peach Belt Conference for three-pointers made (2017). During Flagler's Division II era, Flynn set the record for three-pointers made in single game, three-point percentage, and three-pointers made in a single season (2017).
In the weight room, Flynn holds the FlagerĀ College record for bench press among all female-athletes in Flager College history.
Flynn was a nominee and participant for WBCA's "So You Want to be a Coach" Program. Flynn was one of only 50-60 NCAA women's basketball players selected across the country. She was granted the opportunity to meet at the NCAA Women's Final Four and network with the greatest of collegiate coaches to learn about how to be a successful coach in a professional clinic.
Flynn has coached and trained kids at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, participating in camps and clinics all through-out her college career at Flagler. Flynn worked hand-and-hand with Coach Erika-Lang Montgomery, head coach at Flager College, at these camps.
She has designed andĀ directed her own summer camp in St.Augustine, Florida which included all kinds of sports and taughtĀ both basic sport skills as well as sport specific skills.
Flynn graduated from Flagler college (St. Augustine) with a bachelors in CriminologyĀ and Psychology.
She is the daughter of John Flynn, played Professional Baseball for the Detroit Tigers (retired in 1979) and Helen Flynn. Flynn has two brothers Connor and Danny. The family is originally from Venice, FL.
