ULM Warhawks

Elena Takova joins the ULM coaching staff as a graduate assistant for the 2022 season.  

A graduate of Louisiana Tech, she played two seasons for the Lady Techsters in 2019 and 2020-21 as a right-side hitter.  

In her final season in 2020-21, she played in 56 sets and 19 matches, leading LA Tech in total kills (101), was second on the team with 1.80 kills per set and was third on the team with 34 total blocks and 0.61 blocks per set.  

In her first season in Ruston in 2019, she played in 54 sets and 22 matches, posting 62 kills while being named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

She also played collegiately at Hutchinson Community College and Northwest College.  

She is a native of Sofia, Bulgaria.
