Rayna Smith

Rayna Smith joined the ULM volleyball coaching staff as a graduate assistant before the 2024 season.

Smith arrives in Monroe after most recently serving as a student assistant coach at Kean University in Union, N.J. for three seasons. While at Kean, Smith helped lead the Cougars to Eastern College Athletic Conference titles in 2021 and 2022.

Smith also served as a volunteer assistant volleyball coach at Frank H. Morrell High School in Newark, N.J. She also was a volleyball camp instructor at the University of Texas at Austin in July of 2023. She has been involved in the American Volleyball Coaches Association's (AVCA) Mentorship Program.

A New Jersey native, Smith earned her Associate's Degree in Physical Education from Essex County College and her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Kean University.
