ULM Captains: Kolton Browning (Offense), Isaiah Newsome (Defense) and Justin Manton (Special Teams).

Oklahoma Captains: Gabe Ikard, Trey Millard, Corey Nelson, Aaron Colvin, Michael Hunnicutt and Austin Woods.

ULM won the opening kickoff and deferred to the second half.

Official Attendance: 84,911.

Saturday marked the first ever meeting between ULM and Oklahoma.

This weekend's trip to Oklahoma was the fourth trip all-time to the state of Oklahoma for the Warhawks (1977, at Tulsa; 1997 at Oklahoma State; 1999, at Tulsa; 2013, at Oklahoma).

The Warhawks have now faced eight of the 10 current members of the Big 12 Conference (ULM has never faced Texas Tech and West Virginia).

ULM is now 0-9 all-time against teams currently in the Big 12 Conference.

Saturday marked the sixth straight season that ULM opened the season against a ranked opponent.

ULM is now 1-24 all-time against ranked foes (FBS-era; 1994-pres.).

Saturday's shutout was the first for the Warhawks since the 2011 season when they dropped the season opener at Florida State (Sept. 3).

10 different players made their Warhawk debut Saturday… Justin Backus (RS-Fr.), Tevyn Cagins (RS-Fr.), Ajalen Holley (RS-Fr.), Tre' Hunter (RS-Fr.) Kenzee Jackson (Jr.), Trey Martin (Fr.), Nathan Meadors (RS-Fr.), Alec Osborne (RS-Fr.), Lenzy Pipkins (RS-Fr.) and Diontre Thomas (RS-Fr.).

Kolton Browning completed 20 passes (39 attempts) for 128 yards in the season opener.

Cameron Blakes set a new career-high with 16 tackles.

Michael Johnson also set a new career-mark with six tackles.

Cordero Smith recorded the first turnover of the season for the Warhawk defense as he picked off Trevor Knight in the fourth quarter.
