ULM Splits with Ole Miss; Gets a Win at Texas State
On March 12, ULM took game one of a twin bill against Ole Miss by a 6-3 tally before the Rebels grabbed the nightcap, 11-1. Then, after falling 9-0 in the first inning of the Sun Belt opener, the Warhawks rallied to outscore Texas State 11-5 over the next six innings. However, it would not be enough as the Bobcats swept the Mat. 15 doubleheader, 14-11 and 8-0. On Mar. 16, ULM would grab an early 3-0 advantage and hold on to down Texas State, 3-2, for the first Sun Belt win of the year.
Steele Strong
Tuesday's home game against LSU has been dubbed Steele Strong Night, to benefit former ULM pitcher Lindsay Rittenhouse-Becton's son, Steele, who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy. For more information on Steele and how you can help, click the section heading.

Meanwhile, Miyuki Navarrete is second on the team in hits with 27. She is 27-of-30 stealing bags this year. In the circle, Samantha Hamby, Jessica Colliver and Haylie Wilson have split the innings in conference play so far. Hamby has fanned a team-high 40 batters.
The Holloway-Hill File
Head coach Rosemary Holloway-Hill is in her 30th season at the helm of the Warhawks. She is joined on staff by first year assistants Ashlyn Williams and Garrett Furnal. Williams serves as pitching coach while Furnal assists with hitting and the infield.
