MONROE, La. – Ajalen Holley from the ULM football program was named Warhawk Male of the Week, while the doubles team of Caitlin Herb and Petra Horakova from the tennis program earned Warhawk Female of the Week, announced Tuesday.

Holley finished Saturday's homecoming contest against Georgia Southern with 166 receiving yards on eight catches (20.75 yards per reception). He hauled in a 69-yard reception from Garrett Smith on the Warhawks' opening drive of the second half. The Smith-to-Holley big play highlighted a three play, 80 yard touchdown drive that lasted just 54 seconds.

The 69-yard reception was the longest play from scrimmage for the Warhawks this season and it was a career-long reception for Holley. After four starts in 2015, Ajalen Holley has racked up 367 receiving yards on 28 grabs (13.1 yards per reception) with two touchdowns.

The 166 yards against Georgia Southern also marked the fifth time in Holley's last six home games that he has tallied 100 or more receiving yards; the only outlier was an 89-yard performance against Texas State. Over the last six home games, Holley has recorded 38 receptions for 799 yards (21.02 yards per reception) and five touchdown grabs.

Holley won Warhawk of the Week for the third time in his career after previously winning on Nov. 5, 2013 and Sept. 9, 2014.

The doubles team of Herb and Horakova kicked off their weekend on an extremely high note after downing Alex Letzt and Meredith Xepoleas, 8-7 from No. 2 USC. ULM rallied from a 6-5 deficit to come back and win.

Two days later, the duo led the entire match to defeat fourth-seeded Kimmy Guerin and Kasey Gardiner of Wake Forest who are both ranked top-85 in the country in singles. Gardiner and Xepoleas were ranked No. 84 and 85, respectively, in the nation in singles.

ULM in its history had only tallied one win in two appearances at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships, doing so in 2010 (the other trip was in 2013). Herb and Horakova doubled that in one outing. They were the only Sun Belt representatives in the field.

It marked the second career Warhawk of the Week honor for Horakova and the first for Herb. Horakova previously won on April 14, 2015.
