MONROE, La. – Tru Chambliss and Gabriella Gracia signed National Letters of Intent to play soccer at ULM, starting with the 2022 season, as announced by ULM head coach Sean Fraser.

Chambliss is a local product out of Monroe's Ouachita Christian School. She was a First-Team All-State selection and All-NELA Player of the Year as a junior in 2020-21. She leads the Eagles with 98 career goals and 48 career assists entering her senior season in 2021-22.

"Tru is an excellent local player and epitomizes everything that ULM soccer should be recruiting," Fraser said. "We are proud that Tru helps us as we try to recruit the best local talent to our roster. With the coaching she will receive from (assistant coach) Will (Roberts) individually, we are anticipating great things from Tru in her time as a Warhawk. Tru comes from a soccer family and fits exactly the criteria required to play Division I soccer."

Gracia is a senior at Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tennessee. She has helped Science Hill reach new heights throughout her career. As a senior in 2021, she was named First-Team All-District 1-3A and helped lead Science Hill to the District 1-3A championship, regional championship, sectional championship and a berth in the state tournament. As a junior in 2020, she was named First-Team All-District, District Midfielder of the Year, to the All-Region Team and All-Region Offensive Player of the Year while helping Science Hill win district, regional and sectional championships. The sectional championship was the first in program history and locked up the first-ever state tournament berth in school history. As a sophomore in 2019, she was named First-Team All-District and helped her team reach the sectional tournament for the first time in school history. As a freshman in 2018, she was named All-District Offensive Player of the Year, Second-Team All-District and helped Science Hill to its first-ever regional tournament.

"Gabby has been on our radar dating back to when we were at our previous institution," Fraser said. "She is an incredible athlete with great upside that we cannot wait to get working on. Gabby comes from a great family and has had an excellent high school career. We can't wait to have her on campus this fall."
