ITTA BENA, Miss. – Janet Stopka scored twice and assisted on another goal as ULM picked up a 4-0 win over Mississippi Valley State Sunday at the MVSU Soccer Complex.
The Warhawks outshot MVSU, 47-4, as the Devilettes put no shots on goal. ULM had 25 shots on goal in the match, with MVSU's McKenzie McCarthy making 19 saves.

Emerson Roberts combined on the shutout for ULM.
The match also featured eight cards, with five against ULM, including a red card against
Shi Swift in the 75th minute.
Stopka scored her first goal of the season in the 27th minute off an assist by
Madi Garza, putting the Warhawks up, 1-0. The score held to halftime.
In the second half, Stopka struck again in the 60th minute, off an assist from
Sara Navarro, to double the lead, 2-0.
The Warhawks continued to extend the lead in the 69th minute as
Taylor Henry scored for the first time this season, and the third time in her career, off an assist from Stopka. ULM led 3-0.
Ashley Washburn capped the scoring with her third goal of the season in the 78th minute, thanks to an assist by
Peyton Pipes, giving ULM a 4-0 advantage.
Washburn fired nine shots, with six on goal, to lead ULM. Garza added seven shots with five on goal.
ULM returns to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Southern.
