BATON ROUGE, La. – Kimone Campbell reset her own school record in the 800 meters,
Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi picked up a win in the triple jump and ULM finished in the top five in 12 events Saturday at the Battle On The Bayou at LSU.
Campbell won the women's 800 in 2:07.93 to reset her own school record.
Amanda Radava took second in the 800 in a personal-best time of 2:11.60.
Also on the women's side, Mbuyi won the triple jump at 43-3 (13.18 meters) for her second triple jump crown of the outdoor season and third overall title of the outdoor season.
Olaia Becerril Alvarez was third in the long jump at 19-0 (5.74 meters).
Brittney Roberson took third in the 400 in 56.31.
Ainsley Hamsher tied her indoor school record in the pole vault at 12-0.75 (3.68 meters) to finish tied for fourth. The women's 4x400 relay team of Roberson,
Brianna Taylor, Radava and Campbell was fourth in 3:51.94.
Brianna Washington was fourth in the discus in 148-1.5 (45.15 meters).
Khrystyan Reddic wrapped up women's Top-5 finishes in fifth in the long jump at 18-6.5 (5.65 meters).
For the men,
Jakob Fudge was third in the hammer throw at 179-2 (54.61 meters).
Cole Burgess cleared 15-7.5 (4.76 meters) to take fifth in the pole vault. The men's 4x400 relay team of Joseph White,
Jhavonte Perry,
Brandon Lewis and
Jordan Hollis was fifth in 3:20.33.
Personal-best finishes for the women included
Sydney Lake in the hammer throw (167-8.5, 51.12),
Di'Keriun Straughter in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.56),
Brianna Taylor in the 100 (12.14), Alvarez in the 100 (12.16),
Harlie Medrano in the discus (131-2.5, 39.99) and
Sohalia Schoen in the 1500 (5:00.12).
Personal-best marks for the men included
Darshon Turk in the 110-meter hurdles (14.47), Jamarsha Huglon in the 400-meter hurdles (59.33),
