MONROE La. – The ULM volleyball team stays home this weekend when it hosts the Ragin' Cajuns for a two-match series.
The Warhawks enter the weekend still looking for their first Sun Belt Conference win. They failed in their last two matches, losing to Troy.
The Cajuns own a 2-8 record in Sun Belt play. They were swept in their series last weekend vs. Arkansas State.
For ULM, sophomore
Ariana Brown enters as the biggest threat on the attack. She has culminated in 246 kills during the season (3.15 per set). She is also a team leader in service aces with 29 (.37 per set).
Supporting in the attack is sophomore
Hannah Redrow. She has produced 120 kills in 2024, good for third on the team. Junior
Ryley Boyne is also a threat, possessing the second most kills in the team with 132.
Setting for ULM is sophomore
Morgan Howard, who has tallied 606 assists (7.39 per set) in 2024. She passed the 1,000 career assists this season and is now fifth all-time for assists with 1,102 in ULM history within the 25-point rally-scoring era. Howard is also second on the team in service aces with 16 and has 194 digs for the season, also second most for ULM in 2024
Senior
Cameron Rogers leads the team in defense. Her 353 digs (4.30 per set) are the most on the team. Senior
Kali Walker also ranks well in digs, being third on the team with 178.
Redrow leads the team in total blocks with 40, while
Madeline Villarreal and
Lydia Mesusan are tied for second with 38.
Cailin Demps leads the team in kills for the Ragin' Cajuns with 234 (2.89 per set). Jazmine Gaston and Lauryn Hill are also threats on the attack, with 170 and 168 kills, respectively.
Megan Hawkins plays the role of setter for the Cajuns. She has produced 452 assists in 2024, good for 5.58 per set.
On defense, Mio Yamamoto leads the team in digs with 402 (4.96 per set). Cami Hicks is first with 111.0 total blocks in 2024.
Game one starts on Thursday, November 7 at 6 p.m., and game two serves on Friday, November 8 at 6 p.m.
