MONROE, La. -- The ULM beach volleyball team (11-9) won all four matches it played in the ULM Beach Invitational this weekend at the ULM Beach Volleyball Courts. The Warhawks celebrated Senior Day on Saturday and recognized

Kaitlyn Nowak for their dedication to the ULM beach volleyball program.
ULM began the weekend by winning a close 3-2 match over Central Arkansas.
Kate Taylor and
Eden Anderson won flight four in three sets and raced out to a 15-4 win in set three to claim the match. After falling behind 2-1, the Warhawks captured wins in flights one and two to comeback and win the duel.
Kaitlyn Beck and
Claire Williamson won in straight sets in flight two (21-11, 21-11) and
Kaylie Beck and
Tamsie Black won 2-0 in flight one (21-16, 21-18). The Warhawks ended Friday's action with a 4-1 win over Tarleton State.
Maggie Cox and
Katie Felts won 21-17, 21-14 in flight five while Anderson and Taylor claimed flight four with 25-23, 21-12 wins. Williamson and
Kaitlyn Beck clinched the duel for the Warhawks in flight two with a 21-12, 21-13 win.
Bailey Hope and
Kaitlyn Nowak added another win for the Warhawks in flight three with a 25-23, 21-19 victory.
On Saturday, the Warhawks bested Eastern Kentucky 4-1. Flights 3-5 for ULM won in three sets. In flight four, Taylor and Anderson won 15-13 in the deciding set. Cox and Felts outlasted their opponents with a 15-12 win in the final set in flight five. Hope and Nowak sealed the win for the Warhawks with a 16-14 win in set three for flight three.
Kaitlyn Beck and Williamson won in straight sets, 21-13, 21-12 in flight two. ULM dominated Hendrix in the final matches of the weekend and won five matches by 2-0 scores. Felts and Cox started the match with a 21-8, 21-14 win in flight four. Anderson and Taylor won 23-21, 21-8 in flight four and Nowak and Hope clinched the duel with a 21-18, 21-11 win in flight three. Beck and Williamson claimed flight two (21-11, 21-13) while Beck and Black won flight one (21-17, 21-18).
The ULM beach volleyball team will head out west to Sacramento next weekend for the Sacramento State Tournament beginning on Friday (April 5).
