OXFORD, Miss. -- Bailey Couch finished second in the men's javelin while Kimone Campbell placed third in the 800 meter race to highlight the ULM track and field team's top individual performances at the Joe Walker Invite on the campus of the University of Mississippi this weekend.

Couch fired a mark of 60.83m for second place, while his teammate Aiden McCrary placed fourth in the same event with a result of 50.66m. Juwan Blignaut finished sixth in the 1500m with a time of 3:46.68. Wardell Glaspie earned a top-10 finish in the discus with a launch of 49.34m. Blake Stevens recorded a discus throw of 38.22m and a hammer throw of 43.61m at the event.

Campbell, who broke the program record in the 1500 meters last weekend, finished third overall in the 800 meters and was less than one second from the top two runners. Sydney Lake recorded a toss of 39.74m in the discus for 12th place and 50.96m in the hammer throw for 13th place.

The ULM track & field team will compete at the Carl Knight Invitational at Stephen F. Austin from April 12-13.
