MONROE, La. -- Former Warhawk pitcher Parker Seay signed a free-agent contract with the New York Yankees Thursday (July 18).

The southpaw pitcher from Williston, Florida transferred to ULM in 2024 and made an immediate impact on the Warhawks' bullpen. In 20 appearances, Seay racked up 40 strikeouts in 33.2 innings pitched and maintained an ERA of 3.74 and a WHIP of 1.28. Opponents hit just .223 off of Seay and he posted a 3-1 record.

Seay played the 2023 season at South Florida before beginning his collegiate career at the College of Central Florida. While at the College of Central Florida, he led the Patriots to the NJCAA Division I World Series and helped the team win a school-record of 47 victories in 2021.

Seay joins 2023 draftee Nicholas Judice and signee Chris Kean as former Warhawks to ink deals with the New York Yankees.
