HUNTSVILLE, Al – The ULM volleyball team dropped game two of the Green Wave Classic 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-15) to Mississippi State on Saturday.
 
The first set started fast for the Bulldogs as they jumped out to a 12-4 lead. They kept the control throughout the set as ULM only mustered 11 points.
 
Set two was once again a blowout to start with Mississippi State taking a 12-5 lead. The Warhawks responded with a 5-1 run to cut the deficit to three. They kept the set at three with a 19-16 score, but the Bulldogs used a 6-2 run to take the second set.
 
The two teams were more evenly matched to start set three, with Mississippi State holding onto a 12-9 lead. A 7-1 run by the Bulldogs put the set out of reach at 19-10. They carried the momentum to a sweep of ULM.
 
Ariana Brown led the way with nine kills, and Morgan Howard produced 17 assists. Cameron Rogers and Kali Walker both tallied nine digs.
 
The Warhawks take on host Tulane for the weekend finale tomorrow at 3 p.m.
