MONROE, La – The Warhawks make their final stop of the early season road trip at Stephenville, Texas competing in the Dr. Pam Littleton Classic. They face off against Houston Christian on Friday, September 20 at 2 p.m. to start the weekend. On Saturday, September 21, ULM faces Alcorn State at 10 a.m. and Tarleton State at 6 p.m. in a double header. The Warhawks enter the weekend with a 2-7 record.
BROWN LEADS THE ATTACK -
Sophomore outside hitter
Ariana Brown has been by far the best attacker for the Warhawks in 2024. Her 97 kills (3.46 per set) culminate in 114.0 total points on the season, which beats the next highest total by 57.5. She has double-digit kills in five of the nine matches played this season, including 16 against Grambling on September 13. She was named to the all-tournament team for the Green Wave Classic.
HOWARD WITH THE SETUP -
The main setter for ULM has been Sophomore setter
Morgan Howard. She has 186 assists for the year (6.64 per set) and has double-digit assists in all but one game in 2024 including a career-high 35 assists vs South Carolina State on August 31.
STOPPED BY ROGERS -
Senior libero/defensive specialist
Cameron Rogers continues her defensive dominance in 2024. She has produced 132 digs for the season (4.71 per set). Rogers is also fourth on the ULM all-time list for service aces in the 25-point rally scoring era with 71. She was named to the all-tournament team for the UTA Classic as the libero.
A LOOK AHEAD -
The Warhawks will start Sun Belt Conference Play when they host Southern Miss. The first match will take place on Friday, September 27 at 6 p.m.
