CLINTON, Ms. – The ULM Cross Country team traveled to Clinton, Mississippi to compete in the Mississippi College Opener on Friday.
The Warhawks placed both teams in second place overall in the 5k race. The men scored 53 points and the Women scored 60.
For the men,
Chase Gunn placed sixth overall with a time of 15:47.40, and
Juwan Blignaut capped off the top ten with a time of 15:59.80.
Rojs Puks,
Landon Spears, and
Silas Christie also placed in the top 20.
The Women placed
Ansley Long at fourth with a time of 19:12.70.
Anna Naff also placed eighth with a 19:38.20 time.
Sohalia Schoen and
Sierra Barrera were also top 20 finishers.
ULM returns to the line next week on Friday, September 13 when they compete at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama at 8 a.m.
