ULM volleyball continues Sun Belt Conference play this weekend with a pair of matches against Texas State in San Marcos, Texas. Match one will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 and match two takes place on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS –
Texas State is looking to rebound from a three-match conference losing streak, which includes a weekend sweep at the hands of Arkansas State in Jonesboro last time out. It currently stands at tenth overall in the Sun Belt and fifth place in the West Division.
Samantha Wunsch leads the attack for the Bobcats with 3.33 kills per set, totaling 233 on the year. Her kills per set are good for tenth overall in the conference. Anna Blanie is in on the set, averaging 8.55 assists per set, putting her at second overall in conference rankings among setters. Maggie Walsh also leads with 24 total aces on the serve.
Defensively, for Texas State, Alyssa Clark ranks first on the team with 2.64 digs per set. At the line, Jade Defraeye holds the lead in total blocks with 85, and her 1.13 blocks per set put her at sixth overall in the Sun Belt.
CLEAR THE HALL –
Freshman outside hitter
Aniya Hall has had a stellar 2025 season so far. She leads the team in total kills with 272 and in kills per set with 3.78. Her hitting percentage also ranks second on the squad at .257 through 20 matches. In the Sept. 16 match vs. Lamar, she collected a career-high 29 kills in a five-set victory.
Hall has also been named to three all-tournament teams in 2025, with her most recent accolade being earning Bearkat Classic All-Tournament team honors.
PLUMMER WILL FIX IT –
Freshman
Kennedy Plummer is off to an excellent start to her career as a Warhawk. She has made 20 out of 22 starts as a freshman and has played nearly every set in 2025. She's second on the team in kills per set with 2.50, with 185 in total. Defensively, she holds the third-place spot on the team in total blocks with 23. Along with fellow outside hitter Hall, Plummer was named to the Cowgirl Classic All-Tournament team last weekend.
IN KENZIE WE TRUST –
Junior middle blocker
Kenzie Behl serves as one of the key contributors of the 2025 season. She, along with Hall, was named to the Southeastern Showdown All-Tournament and Bearkat Classic All-Tournament teams.
She is fourth in total kills with 98 and is first in hitting percentage with a .261 mark. Her defensive production is also good, with 61 total digs and 53 total blocks leading the team.
MORE OF MORGAN –
Junior setter
Morgan Howard is the main returner for the Warhawks in 2025. She is averaging 5.86 assists per set with 457 total. She is also the team leader in service aces with 38, which is more than the leader of the 2024 season through 22 matches.
With her total aces, she ranks 11th nationally in the category, placing her above all other Sun Belt players as well. Her defensive numbers rank well on the team as she's second in total digs with 157.
RANEY ON TO DEFEND –
Redshirt Junior libero
Briana Raney leads the way defensively for ULM this season. She's produced a team-leading 217 total digs with 3.74 per set and a .958 reception percentage. Her digs per set rank tenth overall in the conference. She also contributes 48 assists on the year offensively.
CONFERENCE KIMES –
Sophomore
Camryn Kimes has made her mark in conference play for the Warhawks this season. Overall, she's got 128 digs, good for 3.28 per set, which is second on the team behind Raney. In the Oct. 4 match vs. South Alabama, she totaled a career-high 27 digs and also collected two aces in four sets in a 1-3 loss.
