HOME SWEET HOME –

The Warhawks have concluded home play unbeaten at Brown Stadium for the full season with a 7-0-2 home record. ULM posted four clean sheets at home. The team has gone on a 10-match win streak at home, dating back to last season, becoming the longest home-win streak in program history.

SERIES VS. GEORGIA SOUTHERN –

This is the 10th meeting between the Eagles and the Warhawks, with Georgia Southern leading the series 7-1-1. The first meeting between the two teams was 2014, a 3-1 Georgia Southern win.  The Eagles currently hold a six-match unbeaten streak in the series, with five losses and a 1-1 draw  most recently in 2023. The Warhawks are on the hunt for their second win in the series, their first in Statesboro.

Her assists also lead the Sun Belt, ranking fifth nationally. She averages 0.60 assists per game, placing her first in the conference and ninth in the NCAA.

LAST TIME OUT –

MONROE, La. – The ULM soccer team reached new heights, defeating Troy in a 3-0 contest. Libby Holmes notched her first career brace for the lead in the 3-0 score. Ally Richardson had a two-assist day, Holmes also picking up an assist.

An early corner gave way to a shot attempt by Leane Commaret, but to no avail. Janne Van Brummelen and Sophia Youngman also got in on the action with shots. A third corner kick was called for ULM in the 33rd minute, Holmes catching the ball and assisting Blaise in her 11th goal of the season. Troy tried to swing the pendulum in their favor, a corner giving Isabella Hartofelis a chance, but goalkeeper Jen Handy picked up a save to prevent the tie. The ball fell back in favor of the Warhawks, a corner kick from Richardson giving Holmes the chance to net a header for the 2-0 score in the 39th minute.

The ULM defense continued to prevent a score, anchored by Richardson, Strutton, Holmes and Youngman. As the clock began to run, the Warhawks converted yet another corner kick, Richardson getting it to Holmes yet again to secure the brace and 3-0 lead.
