MONROE, La. – College Sports Communicators announced their Men's and Women's Soccer Academic All-District honorees, with six ULM soccer players named to the list. Five seniors and a sophomore receive the recognition, as four Warhawks earn the honors for the second time.
Margret Edda Bjarnadottir completed her first season at ULM making starts in all 20 matches at midfielder. She recorded a goal and a team-leading nine assists.
Leane Commaret made 15 starts over 18 appearances in her senior season, scoring a goal.
Giulia Franco made 15 starts in 19 appearances, tallying four goals and three assists for 11 points on the season.
Ally Richardson made starts in all 20 matches, tallying four assists in 2025.
Beth Strutton, the only ULM sophomore to be honored, made 18 starts across 20 appearances, scoring three goals and two assists.
Sophia Youngman made 14 starts in 16 appearances, tallying an assist and five shots.
Bjarnadottir previously received Academic All-District recognition in 2024 at USC Upstate, with Commaret, Richardson and Youngman earning the honors in 2024 at ULM.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
