The Basics
The ULM outdoor track and field team starts competition in one of two meets this weekend with the Texas relays in Austin from Wednesday, Mar. 26 through Saturday, Mar. 29. The Warhawks will send 21 athletes with 15 men and six women.
 
Meet Schedule
Savanna Lawson will start from 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday through 10:00 a.m. Thursday with the women's heptathlon. Mikayla Douglas and Katerina Natsiopoulou compete in the 400m hurdles on Thursday with prelims at 4:30 p.m. followed by the finals. Douglas and Lawson will also be present in the 100m hurdles with prelims and finals occurring within the early Friday running events starting at 9:35 a.m. The DMR team of Natsiopoulou, Anna Naff, Hedda van Dort, and Lilly Schuster takes the track on Friday at 5:35 p.m.
 
For the men, competition starts on Thursday with Matthew Malcolm taking on the 400m hurdles with prelims at 5 p.m. followed by the final. Also competing Thursday are Juwan Blignaut in the 800m at 6:39 p.m. and Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo in the 5000m race at 9:20 p.m.
 
On Friday, competing in the early 9:35 a.m. running window are J'Marcus Sewell in the 100m, with finals being on Saturday at 2:45 p.m. Devin Bilbo competes in the 110m with finals being at 2:05 p.m. on the final day.
 
The 4x100m relay team of Bilbo, Imani Coleman, Sewell, Bradley Riccardi, and Ericleon May along with the 4x400m relay team of Coleman, Malcolm, Seneca Portlock, Riccardi, and Joseph White are also part of the window. Algirdas Strelciunas is the lone competitor in Friday's field events in the long jump at 10 a.m. Competing later in the day is the DMR team of Joseph Morgan, Coleman, Reid Guirlando, and Blignaut at 6:05 p.m.
 
Blignaut runs the mile race on Saturday at 3:25 p.m. for ULM. In the field events, Ali Eren Unlu takes on the high jump at 2:45 p.m., and Stafon Roach competes in the triple jump at 3 p.m.
