The Basics
The ULM beach volleyball team is set to play in the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Mid-Year Tournament Friday-Saturday at the Foley Sports Tourism Sand Volleyball Complex in Foley, Ala. The Warhawks face UNCW and Coastal Carolina on Friday before taking on Mercer and Southern Miss on Saturday.

About the Warhawks
The
Warhawks are coming off a bye week after going 2-2 at the Sugar Beach Bash in Youngsville, picking up wins over Central Arkansas and Southeastern Louisiana. ULM arrives to Foley with a 7-9 overall record and a 1-0 Sun Belt record after defeating the College of Charleston for the first time since 2015 on opening weekend.
Three athletes have began the season earning 8-6 individual records including
Abby Ryno,
Claire Williamson and
Zsa Zsa Ferguson. Ryno and Williamson have been paired up for every match together in the second pair. Ferguson is 8-5 in pair number four and is 0-1 in pair number three.
Kaitlyn Beck and
Madeline Marquez are 7-8 playing in pair no. 1.
Gracie Behneke is 5-2 playing at pair no. 4 while
Avery Hunter holds a 3-1 record at pair no. 4.
Scouting the Opposition
UNCW has won a program record nine consecutive matches after going 6-0 last weekend at Mercer's tournament. The Seahawks' pairing of Lyvia Trimp and Gracie Sistrunk was named Sun Belt Conference Pair of the Week after posting a 6-0 record at the tournament. ULM previously battled Coastal Carolina at the Coastal Invite with the Chants winning 4-1. CCU is 8-10 overall and went 2-2 last time out at the Carolina Challenge. The Bears have won two straight matches and are 14-6 overall heading into this weekend's tournament. Southern Miss defeated ULM 3-2 at the Sugar Beach Bash and is 8-12 overall.

Warhawks are back in action next weekend and will play a doubleheader at McNeese on April 4 and face New Orleans and Nicholls on April 5.
