WEST POINT, Miss. -- The ULM men's golf team wrapped up the regular season at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Miss.
The Warhawks placed 11th of 13 teams in a field that featured three nationally-ranked teams with 898 (+34) and round scores of 293-291-314.
Louis Anceaux turned in two strong rounds on Monday and shot -10 across both rounds and placed in a tie for fourth. He fired a 68 (-4) in his first round with six birdies and followed up his opening round with an impressive 66 (-6) in a round that featured six birdies and one eagle. He finished the tournament with a 76 (+4) on a day with windy conditions and sank two birdies.
Theis Poulsen moved up five places on the leaderboard Tuesday after scoring 74 (+2) and placed in a tie for 26th with a 220 (+4).
Rory Milne shot 75-74-79 for a 228 (+12) while
Tommaso Rossin carded a 77-78-85 and totaled 240 (+24).
Javier Balbastre completed ULM's lineup with a 244 (+28).
ULM starts play at the Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Championship next Monday (April 21) with play continuing through Thursday (April 24) at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss.
