MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The ULM men's golf team competed in the Memphis Intercollegiate this week, finishing 10th of 11 teams with an overall score of 908 (+44).
Louis Anceaux led the team with a fifth-place finish, scoring one-over. Anceaux carded 10 birdies to lead the team, scoring one-under in the final 18.
Amilkar Bhana followed with a 28th-place finish, shooting an even-par first round to finish +8.
Caden Lester and
Theodor Berg both scored +20 across all three rounds to tie for 57th on the leaderboard.Â
Host Memphis claimed the team title, scoring two-over for the 12-stroke lead. Wright State (+14) and Eastern Kentucky (+16) rounded out the top three. Wright State's Timmy Hollenbeck (-5) picked up the individual title, a strong seven-under first round to get him ahead. Yixiang Wang of Memphis (-3) finished second and Diego Do Patrocinio Lourenco of Memphis (-1) concluded the top three, the three players remaining the only ones shooting under par.
The Warhawks will be back in action in the Mossy Oak Collegiate, hosted by Mississippi State. ULM will tee off in West Point, Mississippi on April 13.Â
