MADISON, Miss. – The ULM men's golf team improved to seventh place in the standings in the Sun Belt Tournament, held at the Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Mississippi. After going +15 in the opening round, the Warhawks went 281 (-7) in round two. Now sitting at seventh with a score of 584 (+8), ULM continues to improve in stroke play.
Louis Anceaux led the team yet again, sitting third on the leaderboard with a score of 67 (-5). He carded five birdies in the stellar round, raising seven slots in the rankings.
Theodor Berg sank five birdies–including three in a row–to move into the top 10, sitting at seventh. Berg recorded a 69 (-3) in his second round.
Amilkar Bhana scored a 73 (+1) in his second 18 holes, with two birdies.
Caden Lester went even 72 in his second round,
Mason Comeaux shooting 81 (+9).Â
Coastal Carolina continues to lead, now nine-under overall through both rounds. James Madison shot eight-under in the second round, now moving into second place. Arkansas State rounds out the top three with a 284 (-1) day, now five-under overall. Max Bengtsson (Coastal Carolina) leads the field, a six-under day to total an eight-under score.Â
