HOUSTON – The ULM men's golf placed 13th this week in the All-American Intercollegiate, hosted by Houston. The team scored a 927 to finish 13th out of 16 teams present. Multiple Warhawks saw successful outings, as
Dakota Cunningham logged an eagle and
Louis Anceaux led the team with six birdies.
Amilkar Bhana led the team with a score of 226, finishing tied for 15th of 80 participants. He logged four birdies in the process as well.
Theodor Berg followed by finishing 16-over, landing 37th on the leaderboard.
Dakota Cunningham recorded an eagle in the first round and shot two-over in the final round to complete his scorecard with a XX, placing 49th.
Louis Anceaux was just behind Cunningham, placing 51st and logging a team-leading six birdies across the three rounds.
Mason Comeaux rounded out the Warhawk competitors, carding a XX to finish 79th.
Arkansas led the pack to claim the team title, shooting 18-over (XX) as a team. Eastern Michigan and Tarleton State rounded out the top three. Tarleton State's Alvaro Pastor claimed the individual title, the lone player to finish under par (-2) as he shot six-under in the second round to remain ahead. Arkansas' Erich Fortlage (+3), UT Arlington's Arth Sinha (+4), Arkansas' John Daly II (+5) and Abilene Christian's Tres Hill (+5) rounded out the top five.
ULM men's golf will be back in action on March 30, competing in the Memphis Intercollegiate at Memphis.
