The Basics
The ULM beach volleyball team will play in the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Championship from April 24-26 at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex in Foley, Ala. The Warhawks earned the No. 5 seed in the championship and will play No. 4 Mercer on Thursday (April 24) morning at 10:30 a.m. on ESPN+.

The Sun Belt Beach Volleyball Championship features a three-day, double-elimination format to determine the champion. The winner of the tournament will earn an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship which will be held May 2-4 in Gulf Shores, Ala.

About the Warhawks
ULM compiled a record of 13-20 during the regular season and played seven matches versus ranked opponents. Led by first-year head coach Baylee Young, the Warhawks picked up their first win over College of Charleston since 2015 during the first weekend of competition at the Coastal Carolina Invite in February. ULM went 2-2 at the Tiger Beach Challenge and the Sugar Beach Bash before defeating Southern Miss at the Sun Belt Mid-Year Tournament 4-1 in March. After a pair of victories at McNeese and two wins at the Pontchartrain Beach Bash versus New Orleans and Nicholls, ULM won five-straight games, which was its longest winning streak of the season during the first weekend of April. ULM defeated Missouri State 3-1 last weekend at the Fight in the Fort.

Abby Ryno and Claire Williamson posted the best record as a pair for the Warhawks this season after going 19-12 in flight two. Kaitlyn Beck and Madeline Marquez are 14-18 overall and have played every match at the No. 1 pair. Katie Felts and Maggie Cox have gone 11-11 in 22 matches played together and have gone 6-4 in their last 10 matches. Three freshman have made an immediate impact on ULM's lineup with Zsa Zsa Ferguson going 14-15, Gracie Behneke going 9-9 and Kaelyn Fredette-Huffman recording a 6-16 overall record. Ferguson and Avery Hunter have won three-straight matches coming into the conference championship.
