NEW ORLEANS – Sophomore
Louis Anceaux of ULM men's golf was selected to the All-Sun Belt Conference First Team following a vote of the conference's head coaches announced on Tuesday (April 29) afternoon.
Anceaux led the team in nine of 10 events during the regular season and captured his first career individual title at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate where he shot a 210 (-6) in Cancun, Mexico. He recorded five top-5 finishes and six top-10 finishes including a runner-up finish at the Graeme McDowell Invitational that featured Anceaux shooting the lowest single round in program history with a 63 in round two.
He helped the Warhawks earn two team victories after ULM captured the team title at the GMAC Invitational by setting the program's 54-hole team scoring record and a team title at the Gulf Coast Collegiate in the spring. Anceaux is currently ranked No. 96 in the latest national SCOREBOARD rankings and will be the first Warhawk to compete as an individual at the NCAA Regional Tournament since 2021. The regional field will be revealed on Wednesday at noon central.
