AUBURN, Ala. -- After one round of play, ULM's Louis Anceaux recorded an even-par opening round and is tied for 20th at the NCAA Auburn Regional held at the Auburn University Club.

After shooting par on the first five holes, Anceaux alternated between bogeys and birdies to complete the front nine at even par with a 36. After a bogey on 14, Anceaux birdied the par four 15th hole to lower his score back to even par and finished his opening round with a trio of pars for a total of 72.

Auburn leads the pack with a team score of -13 followed by UCLA (-5), Georgia Tech (-4) and SMU (-2). A trio of teams are tied at even par while one finished round one at a score of +1. Auburn's Brendan Valdes shot a -7 in the first round to lead all individual golfers. Kennesaw State's Claes Borregarrd is the lowest individual on a non-advancing team with a score of -4.

Anceaux will tee off in round two tomorrow (May 13) at 9:53 a.m. at the Auburn University Club.
