MONROE, La. — Redshirt freshman Morgan Brown has earned NFCA All-Gulf Region Third Team honors as a second baseman, the NFCA announced on Thursday (May 15).

The second baseman becomes the 19th Warhawk to receive the honor of being named NFCA All-Region, the first since 2021. Most recently, Jayden Mount was named to the NFCA All-South Region Third Team at the conclusion of the 2021 season. 
 
Brown finished the season hitting .382 (71-for-186) and claiming 16 doubles, 13 home runs and 62 RBIs. She also collected four triples, 15 walks and eight stolen bases. The Katy, Texas, native was named to Softball America's May Position Power Rankings as the nation's ninth-ranking second baseman this season, previously ranked in March and April and named to the NFCA Freshman of the Year Top 25 list. Brown finished the season leading the Sun Belt in at bats and RBIs, as well as third in doubles and hits, earning All-Sun Belt First Team honors for the 2025 season.
