HARRISONBURG, Va. – Savannah Lawson collected the first win of the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships to highlight day two of action for the ULM outdoor track and field team on Friday.

Lawson placed first in the women's heptathlon on Friday morning with a personal best score of 5213. Within the seven events, she won the 100m hurdles, 200m, and long jump while placing second in the 800m to secure the overall win.

Two more Warhawks advanced to finals competition tomorrow in preliminary events.
Devin Bilbo placed third in the 110m hurdles with a 13.77 time, and
Santana Richardson placed sixth in the 400m with a 48.26 time.

The final day of championship competition starts with the men's triple jump and women's discus throw at 12:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. CT.
