MONROE, La. – Freshman Mikun Adeniran will represent the ULM track and field team in the European Athletics U20 Championships, which takes place from August 7-10 in Tampere, Finland.
 
Adeniran is one of two discus throwers from the United Kingdom and a member of a 28-athlete field in the event. Qualifying starts next Thursday, August 7 from 8:25 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. CT.  The championship takes place on August 9 at 1 p.m. CT.
 
Adeniran is coming off a freshman campaign that included a season-best distance of 53.63m and an appearance in the NCAA East First Round for the Warhawks.
