SCOUTING THE JAGUARS –
South Alabama enters the matchup coming off of a split series against Troy. The Jaguars took the opening match 3-1, but dropped the second 2-3. The Warhawks and Jaguars each earned their lone Sun Belt series sweep over Louisiana Tech, and were swept by Arkansas State.

South Alabama is led by fourth-year middle Dalayla Blackwell in kills (208) and blocks (104). Blackwell ranks third in the conference in hitting percentage (.369) and fourth in blocks per set (1.22). She is the reigning Sun Belt defensive player of the week after her 23 combined blocks against the Trojans. Setter Anabelle Cerny has tallied 769 assists on the season to place third in the conference with 9.05 per set.

LAST TIME OUT –
The Warhawks enter the match up after sweeping both matches and the series over Louisiana Tech. ULM's first Sun Belt series victory since 2023 also marked the school's first point in the Radiance Technologies I-20 Showdown Series.

In the first match, Aniya Hall produced a stellar performance, making a game-high 16 kills and hitting a career-high .500. She added three aces, four digs and two blocks.  The Warhawks outhit the Bulldogs .245 to .140 and made 45 digs to Louisiana Tech's 36 to take the match in straight sets.

Hall surpassed 500 career kills during the second match, leading the way with nine swings on .320%. Hall added three aces for the second match in a row, and made six digs. Bre Perrin set a career-high with five aces, adding 13 assists and three digs. Freshman Zharia Alleyne made a career-high four solo blocks, to bring her weekend total to seven solo blocks.

DIGGING DEEP –
The Warhawks rank 37th nationally in team digs with 1294, a mark that places second in the Sun Belt (App State - 1295). Libero Eden Pietrzak led the Sun Belt last weekend with 5.67 digs per set in ULM's sweep over Louisiana Tech.

Pietrzak leads the team with 308 total digs, and ranks ninth in the conference. She is also ninth in digs per set (3.76). OH Aniya Hall follows with 184, while setters Morgan Howard and Bre Perrin are contributing 159 and 146, respectively. While at the top of the conference in fending off attacks, ULM is third in the Sun Belt in total team attacks (2849), which is also 45th nationally.

ACED IT! –
The Warhawks are making strides at the service line, moving up to third in the Sun Belt in team aces with 142. First-year middle Tatum Clay accounts for a team-high 32, which places her fifth in the conference. Clay is also ninth in aces per set (0.38).

ULM made 19 aces across the series against Louisiana Tech, with a team season-high 12 coming in the second match. Setter Bre Perrin led the Sun Belt this week with 1.17 aces per set (seven total), with a career-high five in Saturday's meeting. OH Aniya Hall totaled six on the weekend, a tied for second in the conference with 1.00 per set.

The Warhawks played six sets against the Bulldogs, and their 3.17 aces p/s led the Sun Belt in both total and average. Troy tied the weekend total at 19 aces, but accomplished it in three more sets than ULM.

CLEAR THE HALL –
Second-year Aniya Hall had an outstanding weekend in ULM's sweep. She combined for 25 kills to lead the Sun Belt in points per set (5.50), and played in less sets (6) than all but one of other ranked players.

Hall made 4.17 kills per set, the second highest mark of the week, and hit .412 for fifth-highest. She had more kills and attempts than each player above her. Her six aces tied her for second in the conference on the week with 1.00 per set.

In the series opener, Hall's 21 points (16 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks) are the third-highest point total in a three set match in the conference this season (Oct. 23). Hall also surpassed 500 career kills on the weekend, a feat she accomplished before completing her second season, and after not playing about half of the 2025 season due to injury.

NOT IN ZHARIA'S HOUSE –
First-year Zharia Alleyne made seven solo blocks, a mark that led the conference on the week. Four of those came in the second match of the series (a career-high in solo blocks for a single match), which is an all-time program high in a three set match, a mark fellow freshman middle Tatum Clay reached earlier in the season as well. Her eight total blocks during the weekend tied her for sixth in the Sun Belt with 1.33 per set. Her season total solo blocks before the weekend series was eight, a mark that she nearly matched in the span of six sets.

Alleyne is up to 50 blocks on the season, a mark that's second for the Warhawks. The MB is hitting .216% (63-30-153), for third-highest on the team among hitters.
