SAN ANTONIO – The ULM men's golf team is back in action this week as the Warhawks travel to compete in the Military City Collegiate, hosted by UTSA and presented by USAA. The 54-hole event will begin Monday (Feb. 23) and conclude on Tuesday (Feb. 24) at TPC San Antonio Canyons Course.

The ULM men's golf team opened their spring season in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, co-hosting the Compadres Collegiate. ULM posted scores of 305-297-303 (+17, +9, +15) in the three rounds, finishing sixth of nine teams. Amilkar Bhana led the team with a seventh place finish of 56 players, shooting one-over in the first round and even par in the final. Caden Lester was the talk of the second round, shooting four under par, including a hole-in-one on the sixth hole to add an accent mark on the round. The lone Warhawk to land an eagle, Lester finished 15^th in the field, shooting eight-over across all three rounds. 
 
Up Next
The ULM men's golf team will continue the spring season in Louisiana in March, traveling to compete in the Golden Nugget Collegiate. The Lamar-hosted tournament will run from March 2 to March 3.
