MONROE, La. – The ULM beach volleyball team (1-7) is ready to return home, as the Warhawks host their lone tournament of the year and honor their seniors in the ULM Bayou Bash.
The Warhawks open the weekend taking on Stephen F. Austin on Friday (March 13) at 11 a.m. On Saturday, ULM will host Missouri State at 9 a.m. before ending the weekend against Tarleton State at 1:30 p.m. The senior day festivities will occur on Saturday at 1 p.m. following the conclusion of the Missouri State matchup.
The ULM Bayou Bash
ULM has been hosting the ULM Bayou Bash since 2019, recording a 16-10 record in the previous iterations. The Warhawks look to snap a four-match skid dating back to 2024.
Previously
The Warhawks went 0-4 at the Tiger Beach Challenge, falling to Washington, UAB, North Alabama and host LSU. The duos of Ingersoll/Hunter and Bankston/Peterson snagged victories against North Alabama, narrowly falling in a 3-2 contest.
Scouting the Opposition
Stephen F. Austin is 4-3 on the season so far, claiming wins over Nicholls, McKendree University, Park University Gilbert and Arizona Christian University. Missouri State remains undefeated in 2026, picking up notable wins over Eastern Illinois, Central Arkansas and Eastern Kentucky. A 3-6 Tarleton State team rounds out the field, with wins over Central Arkansas and two sweeps over Concordia University.
