MONROE, La. – ULM track and field will continue the outdoor season with a pair of meets this weekend at the Ole Miss Classic on Friday, Mar. 20, and the LSU Opener on Saturday, Mar. 21. The trio of
Sydney Lake,
Blake Stevens and
Benedikt Schweizer will travel to Oxford, Miss., while the rest of the team will take on Baton Rouge.

Teams competing in Saturday's meet feature the host school, LSU, along with rival Louisiana Tech and Sun Belt competition with Arkansas State and South Alabama.

Meet Schedule –
In Oxford, Lake will compete in the women's hammer throw at noon, while Schweizer and Stevens will be in the men's hammer throw scheduled at 2:30 p.m. The hammer throws start things off in Baton Rouge at 9 a.m. At 11:30 a.m. on Saturday is the men's pole vault is followed by the women's high jump at Noon.

Within the 12-1 p.m. timeline is the men's discus, women's shot put, women's long jump and men's long jump. After the women's pole vault event at 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m. brings on the women's discus, men's shot put and men's high jump events. The Warhawks' day ends with the triple jump events.

For the running events at LSU, the 4x100m relays kick things off at 1 p.m. After the 1500m runs are the women's 100m and men's 110m hurdle events at 1:40 p.m. At 2 p.m. are the 400m races with the 100m, 800m, and 400m hurdle events occurring afterwards. Following the 200m are the day-ending 4x400m relays.
