MONROE, La. – ULM track and field will continue the outdoor season with a two-day meet from Friday, Mar. 27, through Saturday, Mar. 28, at the Clyde Hart Classic in Waco, Texas.
 
Teams competing at the Baylor-hosted meet include Texas, TCU and Arkansas, as well as in-state rival Louisiana Tech. ULM is the only Sun Belt school represented this weekend.  
 
Meet Schedule –
On day one, the field events start at 11 a.m. with the men's hammer throw, as the women's event follows afterwards. Other field events for the day include the pole vault, discus and long jump events for both men and women. Saturday's field will also begin at 11 a.m. with the javelin throws and will end with the women's high jump at 3 p.m. In between those events are the shot put, triple jump and men's high jump events.
 
For the running competitions, Friday starts with the 200m at 5:30 p.m. and is followed by the 400m hurdles, 1500m, and 5000m events. On day two, the prelims for the men's 110m hurdles and women's 100m hurdles events start at 12:30 p.m. with the finals beginning at 2 p.m. Also occurring at the early part of the day are the 4x100m relays and 3000m steeplechase races. Following the hurdle sprint finals are the 400m, 100m, 800m, and the day-ending 4x400m relays.

The Warhawks take on their second two-meet weekend of the season with both the Texas Relays in Austin and the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos next weekend.
