RUSTON, La. – ULM track and field competed in the Jim Mize Relays in Ruston on Friday.

For the men, five events were won on the day.
Matthew Malcolm placed first in the 400m hurdles event with a time of 52.44, while Raymond Gomez (4:05.11) and
Chase Gunn (8:49.89) won the 1500m and 3000m events. The 4x400m relay team of
Imani Coleman,
Thibault Buchard,
Santana Richardson and Malcolm took first in the event as
Joshua Qualls won his first event of the season in the hammer throw.

The women took first in three events in the 1500m, 3000m and shot put.
Maya Nobes won the 1500m with a time of 4:44.20, while
Tuva Sandberg finished at the top of the list in the 3000m with a 10:24.59 result.
Macy Lee Hale won first place in the shot put with a distance of 12.89m.

The Warhawks are back next weekend in Baton Rouge with the LSU Alumni Gold on Saturday, Apr. 25.
