BATON ROUGE – ULM track and field finished competition at the LSU Alumni Gold on Saturday afternoon.

The Warhawks took home four first-place finishes, three for the men and one for the women.
Francisco Calhau won the hammer throw event with a distance of 66.07m, while
Stafon Roach (15.46m) and
Gionni Wiltz (2.16m) won in the triple and high jump. It is the first win of the outdoor season for the freshman in the high jump event.
Tuva Sandberg took the top result in the 3000m events with a time of 10:06.06.

Along with the four top results were four more placements on the podium.
Benedikt Schweizer and
Blake Stevens finished second and third place in the hammer throw event.
Sydney Lake recorded a second-place result in the women's hammer throw, while Sandberg made the podium for the second time in the 1500m race.

The Warhawks will come home to Monroe for the annual Warhawk Classic next weekend from Friday, May 1, through Saturday, May 2. Â
