TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The ULM women's golf team has set off for Tallahassee, competing in NCAA Regionals for the second time in four years. The ninth-seeded Warhawks will tee off at Seminole Legacy Golf Club on Monday (May 11). The teams will play 54 holes across three days, the top five teams advancing to the national championship in Carlsbad, California.
This marks the second time ULM has competed in the NCAA Regionals in the last four years, last competing in the San Antonio regional in 2023. The team finished 10th with an overall score of 912 (+48), defeating Illinois and Missouri State. Alessia Mengoni finished in the top 20 with a 222 (+6).

About the Warhawks
The ULM women's golf team most recently claimed its second Sun Belt Conference title in three years, defeating Old Dominion and Texas State in match play. FreshmanÂ

th hole for the victory.
The ULM women's golf team advanced from stroke play to semifinal match play in the Sun Belt Championships. The Warhawks earned the one seed in the match play competition, finishing with a score of 871 (+7).Â
Daniela Campillo led the Warhawks, fighting in contention to claim the individual title.Campillo tied for second with South Alabam's Lilian Buehle, finishing in the top three for the third consecutive year with her best score among the three years.Â

 McLean-Tattan all tied at 14th on the leaderboard with a score of 221 (+5), McLean-Tattan's 12 birdies tying for third-most in the tournament.Â
Johanna Sjursen rounded out the field for ULM, completing her third round with a 73 and carding an overall 222 (+6).Â

The Warhawks cruised to claim a spot in the championship event, picking up 4.5 points on the way to victory against Old Dominion.Â
Manzini secured the first point for ULM, finishing against Alina Shchepteva with a 5&4.Â
Sjursen then defeated Mariana Arronte 3&2 for the next point,Â
Campillo clinching the game-winning point with a 2&1. McLean-Tattan finished one-up against her opponent asÂ
Andrysova tied through 18 holes against individual title winner Barbara Car.

Texas State also advancing to the championship round handily, the Warhawks made quick work of getting the advantage.Â
Andrysova completed play first against Briana LeMaire with a 2&1 result.Â
Manzini got ULM to being just one match away with the successful 3&2 outing. Fia Lindblom got the Bobcats on the board however, keeping it tight in a 4&3 victory overÂ
Campillo. With both final pairs tied late in the contest, it was up to eitherÂ
Sjursen orÂ
McLean-Tattan to find the edge for the victory. As Sjursen landed one-up on the 16
th hole, McLean-Tattan sank the birdie putt on the 18
th hole for the third point, leaving the Warhawks victorious.

This is the second Sun Belt title in program history for the women's golf team, the first coming in 2023.Â
