MONROE, La. – Two ULM golfers have been named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) All-Louisiana teams, as announced by the LSWA on June 17. Women's golfer Johanna Sjursen continued to collect honors, as named on the All-Louisiana First Team. Men's golfer Louis Anceaux was also recognized, named to the All-Louisiana Second Team.

Sjursen earns the honor after being named the Sun Belt Golfer of the Year and listed on the All-Sun Belt First Team. The senior had a standout season, with 36 rounds under her belt and a stroke average of 73.3 to help her team to a second Sun Belt title in four years. She recorded four top 5 finishes this season, five top 10 finishes and an individual victory. Her individual victory came in the "Mo" Morial Invitational, where the senior finished +1 for the win, defeating 15 ranked players. Sjursen's season has been recognized by the Sun Belt two times, with back-to-back Sun Belt Golfer of the Week honors on April 2 and 10. In the postseason, the Goteborg, Sweden native finished third in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, becoming the first ULM Warhawk to play in the NCAA National Championships. Sjursen made her professional debut at the Women's U.S. Open on June 4, after qualifying this spring.

Anceaux is named to the All-Louisiana Second Team after a strong junior season, recording a stroke average of 72.1. The junior saw 33 rounds with the Warhawks this year, landing in the top five four times and the top 10 seven times, including a seventh-place finish in the Sun Belt Championships. The Groslay, France native scored a 61 at the Golden Nugget Invitational for his season-low round.
