CARLSBAD, Calif. – Johanna Sjursen has completed play in the NCAA National Championship, held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. After three rounds, Sjursen finished with a score of 227 (78,76,73).
After a +6 first round, the senior continued in round two with a 76 (+4). She drained two birdies, both coming in the front nine as she reached par in 10 holes. Two more birdies came in the final round of play as Sjursen scored a 73 (+1), her best round in Carlsbad. She scored a 35 (-1) through her final nine holes, collecting a birdie and eight par holes.Â
TCU's Kirstin Angosta and Princeton's Thanana Kotchasanmanee lead the individuals with a 210 (-6).Â
Sjursen concludes collegiate play in Carlsbad, but will travel back to California to compete in the U.S. Open beginning on June 4 in Pacific Palisades, California.
