TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The ULM women's golf team has concluded its time at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club, completing all 54 holes of the NCAA Regional. The team finished eighth of 12 teams with a total score of 890. Senior
Johanna Sjursen finished tied for third on the leaderboard to qualify for the NCAA National Championships in Carlsbad, California.Â
Sjursen led the Warhawks through all three rounds, scoring a 210 (-6) to tie for third place and earning the qualifying spot. The senior recorded 15 birdies, the second-most of the event.
Anna Andrysova finished with a score of 223 (+7) across 54 holes.
Emma Manzini scored seven-over in the final round of play to score a 227 (+11). Junior
Daniela Campillo recorded three birdies in the final 18 holes to card a 230 (+14).
Tessa Ion rounded out the field in the final round of play, recording a +8 in the final 18.Â
Wake Forest (-8) finished at the top of the leaderboard to advance to the National Championships, Florida State (-4) and host Florida (-3) also finishing under par to reach Carlsbad. Eastern Michigan (+5) and Kentucky (+6) rounded out the top five for the teams advancing to the National Championships. Florida State's Sophia Fullbrook and Wake Forest's Morgan Ketchum both finished seven under par to share the individual title, as Wake Forest's Chloe Kovelesky and Kentucky's CA Carter tied with Sjursen with a score of 210 (-6).
Sjursen will represent the Warhawks at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California on May 22 to May 27.
