DESTIN, Fla. – The ULM men's golf team continued the fall season in Destin, Florida, competing in Texas State's Sandestin Collegiate Classic. The Warhawks finished fifth of 14 teams, recording a score of 846 (+6). Three Warhawks shared the team lead with nine birdies apiece for a team total of 36.

First-year player Benjamin van Braak led the team with a 10th-place finish, scoring a 208 (-2). Amilkhar Bhana followed with an even-par 210 on the week, as individual competitor for ULM Theodor Berg was just behind with a +1 finish. Bhana logged an eagle in the second round on hole 5, the lone Warhawk to do so. Berg opened with a 68 in round one, before logging a 71 and 72 on the final two rounds. Ben Stoller finished 25th on the leaderboard, also recording a 68 in the opening round. Louis Anceaux logged a 216 on the week as Dakota Cunningham recorded a 226 to round out the team. 

ULM will migrate closer to home next week, facing local opponent Louisiana Tech as the Bulldogs host the Argent Financial Classic in Choudrant, Louisiana. Play will begin September 27 and conclude on September 29.
