Taylor Henry netted a goal each as the ULM soccer team picked up a key Sun Belt Conference road win Friday night over Texas State, 3-1, at the Bobcat Soccer Complex.
It was the fourth consecutive win for the Warhawks (11-3-1 overall, 4-3-1 SBC), who moved into a tie for fifth place in the SBC with two matches remaining.
"The first 25 minutes, we were excellent in possession and then after that I thought we defended a little too much tonight," ULM head coach

Yarbrough put the Warhawks on the board in the 19th minute. ULM was set up with a free kick with Yarbrough scoring off an assist from sophomore

ULM struck twice in short order in the second half. In the 55th minute, Zerva scored off a pass from Henry to double the ULM lead to 2-0. Zerva picked up her ninth goal of the season while Henry earned her third assist.
Less than a minute later, the Warhawks added to the lead when Henry scored off an assist by senior
Aysha Bentick for the 3-0 advantage. It was Henry's first goal of her career while Bentick notched her sixth assist.
Texas State responded less than a minute after that as Zoe Junior scored to cut ULM's lead to 3-1.
The Bobcats put just two more shots on goal for the rest of the match as the Warhawks went on to the victory.
