• The ULM women's basketball team continues its Sun Belt Conference slate on Saturday (Jan. 13) with a home game versus Texas State. The Warhawks and the Bobcats are set to square off inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum at noon on Saturday.

Brianna Harris posted a season-high 22 points while Nunu Bradford poured in 20 as ULM bounced back at home with a 67-51 win over South Alabama on Thursday night. The Warhawks erased a six-point deficit at the half and outscored the Jaguars 41-19 in the second half to earn their 10th win of the season, the most since the 2018-19 season.
Harris shot 9-of-14 from the field and converted a pair of three-point buckets for a game-high 22 points. She pulled down eight boards, including three off the offensive glass, and blocked a pair of shots. Bradford led ULM with five assists and added eight boards and one steal.
Jakayla Johnson finished with 13 points and seven rebounds to go along with a pair of steals and one assist.
Lauren Gross chipped in a pair of three-point buckets and contributed six points.
SATURDAY'S GAME BASICSÂ Â Â
ULM and Texas State will meet for the 60th time in history Saturday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe, Louisiana. Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Chris Harris (play-by-play) and Mike Vining (analyst) on the call. The game also will air on KMLB 105.7 FM/540 AM and the TuneIn app on the Warhawk Radio Network from Learfield with Ben Milam on the play-by-play.
PREVIEWING TEXAS STATE
After earning a 67-58 road win at App State, the Bobcats have dropped their last two conference games at Georgia State and at Arkansas State. Four of the first five conference games on Texas State schedule are road games.
Western Kentucky transfer forward Jaylin Foster turned in a season-high 25 points in the Bobcats' loss at Arkansas State. Foster shot 8-for-8 from the field and was the first Bobcat to accomplish that feat since 2008. Ja'Niah Henson, a graduate student from Baltimore, Maryland, has averaged 13.6 points per game to lead the Bobcats' scoring efforts. Houston Christian transfer Timia Jefferson has scored an average of 11.9 points per game and has pulled down 5.4 rebounds per game.
The Bobcats are led by 2023 Sun Belt Coach of the Year Zenarae Antoine, who is in her 13th season leading Texas State women's basketball. Antoine is the all-time winningest coach in program history and played four seasons at Colorado State. She began her coaching journey as a graduate assistant at Ohio University before holding assistant coaching roles at the College of Charleston, Ohio, Louisville and Arkansas.
