MONROE, La. — The ULM Soccer team has been selected to finish third in the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, receiving 138 votes. The Warhawks fall behind only Old Dominion and James Madison. ULM's ranking is the highest the team has been ranked in the SBC Preseason Coaches Poll since joining the league in 2006.

The Warhawks are coming off a historic season, posting a 9-2-8 record, finishing second in the Sun Belt West. ULM finished the season playing in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Championship, falling to Georgia Southern in penalty kicks.

The 2024 season starts in just over a week with the season opener vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff taking place on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m. inside Brown Stadium. The Warhawks will take on Sun Belt preseason favorites Old Dominion in Norfolk on Sept. 26 and the preseason second-ranked James Madison in Monroe on Oct. 4.
