FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – ULM cross country is set to compete in the NCAA South Central Regional on Friday, Nov. 14, in Fayetteville.
The women will run the 6k at 10:30 a.m. and the men will compete in the 10k at 11:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Teams competing against the Warhawks include Sun Belt Conference schools like Arkansas State, the Ragin' Cajuns, and Texas State. Bigger schools, including Texas A&M, Arkansas, and LSU, will also be present. There will be 31 teams represented in the women's field and 32 total programs for the men.
Both groups will look to improve their placements from last season, as the men finished 19
th out of 32 teams, while the women had no team score.
Last time out, the Warhawks earned third and ninth place for the men and women at the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships. In particular,
Kgaogelo Moloisi placed second overall individually, earning him the honor of Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year.
Juwan Blignaut and Joshua Gill also received All-Conference Third-Team honors, placing 19
th and 21
st, respectively.
