LAFAYETTE, La. – The ULM football team (3-8, 1-6 Sun Belt) will hit the road to take on the Ragin' Cajuns (5-6, 4-3 Sun Belt) on Saturday (Nov. 29) at 2 p.m. CT in Lafayette. The game is the final game for ULM this season, while the Cajuns play for bowl eligibility.
Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Dan McDonald (play-by-play) and Scott Brazda (analyst) on the call. The game will also air on KLIP 105.3 FM with the Voice of the Warhawks,
Mike Hammett and analyst Mike McGee.
OPENING DRIVE –
• The ULM football team (3-8, 1-6 SBC) will round out the 2025 season with competition against an in-state foe in the Ragin' Cajuns (5-6, 4-3 SBC) on Saturday (Nov. 29). Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT. After falling to Texas State last week, the Warhawks are looking to go out with a win over the Cajuns.
• Most recently, ULM fell on the road to the Texas State Bobcats, 31-14. The Warhawks fought strong in the first half, only allowing a field goal from the home team. But 28 points in the second half outpowered the ULM offense.
Aidan Armenta and
Zach Palmer-Smith each tallied a rushing touchdown, as
Noah Flemmings anchored the defense with 13 tackles.
• Saturday's game marks the 60th meeting between the Ragin' Cajuns and the Warhawks in the series, which dates back to 1951. ULM is 13-17 when playing the Cajuns in Lafayette, last winning on the road in 2017, a double overtime victory, 56-50. The Cajuns look to extend their two-game win streak over the Warhawks to three, winning the last three games in Lafayette as well.
• ULM has held opponents to a kickoff return average of 11.29 yards, leading the Sun Belt and ranking third among FBS teams.

Noah Flemmings scored the second touchdown of the game against South Alabama (Nov. 15) through a fumble recovery. The score is Flemmings' first touchdown and second fumble recovery of the season. It is also ULM's first fumble recovery touchdown of 2025, last occurring for the Warhawks against James Madison in 2024 by
Daniel Knudsen. By recovering two fumbles this season, Flemmings ranks second in the Sun Belt and ninth in FBS.
• With both
Braylon McReynolds and
Noah Flemmings tallying scores versus South Alabama (Nov. 15), it marks the first time all season that ULM players on both offense and defense saw touchdowns, let alone both players wearing the same jersey number.
•
Braylon McReynolds broke free for 29 yards to reach the end zone in ULM's first play of the game against South Alabama (Nov. 15). The last time the Warhawks scored on their first play was against Grambling in 2013.
•
Brett Drillette blocked the first punt of the season against Old Dominion (Nov. 1), the second blocked kick of his career. Drillette blocked a kick in the 2024 season opener against Jackson State. This is the first blocked punt for ULM since
Hunter Herring blocked a punt against UAB last season.
• The Warhawks defeated Arkansas State in their first conference game of the season, a 28-16 homecoming victory. This is the first win over the Red Wolves since 2009 to get to an early 1-0 start in Sun Belt play. After a 10-0 deficit early, the Warhawks scored 21 unanswered points to capture the lead. ULM's defense held Arkansas State to 12 rushing yards, posting six sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery in the win.
• On the road against UTEP, the Warhawks defeated their first nonconference opponent on the road since 2018. The victory also marks the team's third road win since 2020, also finding victory in 2024 at Troy and in 2022 against Georgia State.
• In the season opener against Saint Francis, ULM claimed a 29-0 shutout win. This is the first shutout win in over a decade for the Warhawks, the last coming against Nicholls in 2015 (47-0). Nine other teams in FBS secured a shutout in Week 1, including local foe Louisiana Tech.
• ULM center
Elijah Fisher has been named to the Rimington Trophy Midseason Watchlist, honoring the top center in college football. Fisher arrives on the list in his debut season at center and sixth season at ULM. The redshirt senior is also the lone Sun Belt center to make an appearance on the list.

Aidan Armenta remains the starting quarterback for the Warhawks, completing 129 of 222 passes for 1318 yards and nine touchdowns. The redshirt sophomore surpassed his career-high with 19 completions against Troy (Oct. 18). Armenta also posted a rushing touchdown against Texas State (Nov. 22), his second of the season and third of his career.
• Monroe native
Landon Graves has also seen action at quarterback this season, throwing 19-for-40 across seven games and collecting a touchdown in his first career drive. Graves saw his first career start at Southern Miss (Oct. 25), collecting another touchdown early in the game and also posting 24 rushing yards.
•
Hunter Herring has also seen action in a unique position, appearing in multiple positions on the field to push the Warhawks ahead. Herring scored the first touchdown of the season for the Warhawks and posted another against UTEP.
• The running back room in Monroe has proven to be deep, as five RBs have seen action so far this season.
Braylon McReynolds has claimed nine starts thus far, leading the team with 588 yards from 112 attempts and three touchdowns. McReynolds notched his first touchdown as a Warhawk against Saint Francis, a 13-yard reception into the end zone.
• Four other running backs contributed to the 1,752 rushing yards this season, the team averaging 4.5 yards per rush.
Zach Palmer-Smith has recorded 546 yards off 95 carries, including his first ULM rushing touchdown against Arkansas State (Sept. 27). Palmer-Smith also earned the start at Southern Miss, notching a touchdown.
Dorian Lewis has posted 194 yards on 25 carries, including a 72-yard rush to get to the red zone at UTEP (Sept. 20). Lewis also picked up the two-point conversion at Coastal Carolina (Oct. 11). Freshman
D'Shaun Ford has seen 13 carries and 49 yards and
Tyrell Reed Jr. has collected 137 yards, averaging 3.9 yards per carry.
•
Jonathan Bibbs leads the receiving room, tallying 304 yards from 24 receptions, averaging 27.6 yards per game. Bibbs caught the touchdown reception against Coastal Carolina, a 27-yard reception in the end zone.
Tyler Griffin has claimed 163 yards from 12 receptions, including a touchdown reception from quarterback Graves two times this season. Veteran
Jake Godfrey has notched 191 yards off 16 receptions, getting a touchdown reception from Armenta into the end zone at UTEP (Sept. 20) and his fourth career touchdown reception vs. Arkansas State (Sept. 27). Junior
JP Coulter has also seen action this season, posting 230 yards off 20 receptions.
Receiver
Nic Trujillo made the return to the field against Northwestern (Oct. 4), sidelined for the first four games due to injury. In making his first catch as a Warhawk, Trujillo caught a 34-yard pass from Armenta to score an early touchdown against the Wildcats. Trujillo has so far collected 235 yards off 19 receptions.
• Tight end
Julian Nixon has also seen action, registering 141 yards off 13 receptions and scoring the first touchdown against Arkansas State. The touchdown was the tight end's second of his career and first of the season. Nixon then rushed into the end zone against Southern Miss to post the third touchdown for ULM.
Rylan Green also contributes to scoring, collecting a four-yard touchdown reception against Old Dominion for his first career touchdown.

Noah Flemmings leads the team defense with 73 tackles, logging 10.5 tackles for loss through 11 games. Flemmings posted a stat-power stat line at Texas State (Nov. 22), logging a team-high 13 tackles, half a sack and two tackles for loss. A career-high stat line of 2.0 TFLs, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery came for Flemmings against Arkansas State (Sept. 27). Flemmings also picked up a fumble recovery touchdown against South Alabama (Nov. 15).
Jabari Tillerfollows with 36 tackles (25 UA, 11 A), along with seven tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble. Tiller led the Warhawks with 10 tackles against South Alabama (Nov. 15).
David Godsey Jr. and
Lynard Harris are credited with three of the five interceptions on the season, two coming in the final two minutes against UTEP to prevent a last-minute comeback from the Miners. Godsey Jr.'s second interception came in the endzone at Texas State (Nov. 22). Godsey Jr. also forced and recovered a fumble at Coastal Carolina (Oct. 11), forcing another against Troy (Oct. 18).
Kristopher Robinson also got in on the action, recording an interception against the Red Wolves. Robinson also logged a career-high eight tackles and a tackle for loss in the contest.
Cliff Mosleyalso contributed to the defensive effort, catching his first career interception against the Red Flash to force another turnover.
A few Warhawks saw career games against Arkansas State (Sept. 27), especially on the defensive side.
Jaeden Calenderposted his first career sack, one of six against Arkansas State. Godsey Jr. notched a career-high two pass breakups and
Kelbee Holmes saw his first career quarterback hurry.
Dylan Howell saw two sacks on the day, a career high for the ULM veteran. Newcomer
Tae Woody also posted a career game with four tackles, 1.0 TFL and a quarterback hurry.
•
Jacob Chambliss and
Jacob Green join the special teams room after injuries prevented Larson and Stagg from competing in recent games. Green and Chambliss both brought new life to the kicking team, Green claiming kickoff duties and Chambliss competing as the placekicker. Both kickers were found as ULM students when an all-call was sent in search of kickers on campus. Green made his debut on October 4 at Northwestern and Chambliss began competing with the Warhawks on October 25 against Southern Miss. Chambliss has gone 7-for-7 in extra points since making his debut.
• Offensive lineman
Elijah Fisher was recognized on multiple preseason watch lists, including the All State Wuerffel Trophy Watchlist and the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Trophy Watchlist. The Wuerffel Trophy recognizes college football players who exemplify community service, academic excellence and athletic achievement. The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Trophy recognizes the top offensive player who exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity.
• Family connections on the ULM football coaching staff include
Bryant Vincent's son,
Brady Vincent, as the team's Tight Ends Coach.
