The Basics
The ULM indoor track and field team travels to Birmingham, Ala. to compete in the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships from Monday, Feb. 24 through Tuesday, Feb. 25.

There are seven teams including the Warhawks competing for the men and ten competing featured for the women. In 2024, the ULM men placed sixth and the women placed seventh.

Day one starts with the heptathlon and pentathlon at 10 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. At 1:30 p.m. is the women's weight throw, and at 3:15 p.m., the men's long jump begins. The men's weight throw starts at 4 p.m. followed by the men's pole vault at 4:15 p.m. At 5:15 p.m., the women's long jump starts. The 5000m for the women starts at 5:20 p.m. and the men begin at 6:15 p.m. The day ends with the men's and women's DMR at 6:45 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. respectively.

Tuesday starts with Heptathlon events at 10 a.m. before the women's high jump at 11:15 a.m. At noon is the women's shot put, followed by the men's triple jump at 12:30 p.m. The mile runs start at 1:30 p.m. for the women and 1:45 p.m. for the men. Three events start at the 2 p.m. slot with the women's pole vault and triple jump and the men's shot put with the 60m final at 2:05 p.m. Both 60m hurdles finals start at 2:15 p.m. for the women and 2:20 p.m. with the men's high jump starting at 3 p.m. Also starting at 3 p.m. is the women's 400m followed by the men's 400m.

The 800m begins at 3:10 p.m. for the women and 3:20 p.m. for the men, and the 200m occurs at 3:30 and 3:35 p.m. for the women and men. The women's and men's 3000 m races are at 3:45 and 4:10 p.m., and the championships will conclude with the 4x400m relays at 4:30 p.m. for the women and 4:40 p.m. for the men. The awards presentation starts at 5:10 p.m.
